Varada has announced the availability of the Varada Data Virtualization Platform, its flagship data virtualization product that features a dynamic indexing technology. Varada made the announcement at Solutions Review’s second annual BI Insight Jam.
This release comes on the heels of Varada’s Series A funding round of $12 million from September. Dynamic indexing enables teams to balance performance and cost of queries at massive scale.
Varada is deployed atop a customer’s existing data lake and in the enterprise VPC. Varada enables data architects to seamlessly optimize workloads via dynamic and adaptive indexing technology, which is at the hear of this unique data platform. This technology ensures that queries will run at interactive response time, often 10x-100x faster than other data lake based SQL query engines. Based on a deep observability layer, the platform automatically analyzes and detects which datasets to accelerate, and applies the optimal index.
Varada CEO Eran Vanounou said: “The beta period for this product has proven two things.
